Tips on hair breakage prevention

Hair breakage may cause by many reason such as: lack of moisture and oils, over processing, poor nutrient diet, stress, illness... but the main reasons are diet and hair care methods. Diet plays a very important role to make hair stronger and stop breaking. Here are foods you should add to your diet if you have hair breakage.

 

 

Chicken and Egg. Hair needs a lot of protein, so a protein-rich diet is a great way to prevent breakage and improve hair growth. Lack of protein will make your hair brittle and weak. Chicken and eggs are rich in protein. So frequently use them, your body can be provided adequate protein. Eggs contain sulfur supplies which help the hair follicles to grow. Sulfur promotes hair growth by improving blood circulation to the scalp, reduces inflammation and prevents hair loss.

Oats. Oats not only provide sustainable energy but also help maintain hair color and prevent hair loss. Oats contain minerals necessary for hair growth, such as potassium, phosphorus and magnesium.

Bean sprouts. Sprouts contain the nutrients necessary for healthy hair as silica and prevention of hair breakage. The body uses silica to absorb vitamins and minerals, so even if you regularly have supplement of vitamins and minerals, you would not be able to absorb them if there is no silica.

Dried fruit and nuts. Dried fruit and nuts are good sources of vitamin E. Vitamin E increases blood circulation in the scalp and inositol substances in foods may be useful in maintaining the health of the hair. Walnuts, almonds and nuts are good sources of zinc. Hair will be broken and lost if the body is deficient in zinc, so they are great food to help you prevent this phenomenon.

Fruits. Apples, strawberries, bananas, oranges and watermelon are the best fruits to provide adequate nutrients needed to make your hair impossible to be broken.

Green leafy vegetables. Broccoli and spinach are good sources of vitamin A and vitamin C and sebum production. Sebum is the oily substance secreted by the hair follicles to help hair from drying out.

Salmon. Salmon is a source of protein, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin B12 and iron. Omega-3 fatty acid is essential for healthy scalp. If you are a vegetarian, you can substitute salmon by adding 1-2 tablespoons flaxseed oil in the diet daily.

Seafood. Seafood is very important food in maintaining the hair growth. Fish supply sulfur and fatty acids necessary to maintain the health of hair. Food is rich in zinc such as oysters, shrimp, oysters which are good at preventing breakage.

Water. Drink 8-9 glasses of water a day helps to transport the nutrients needed for healthy hair. Drinking more water will help the hair to get enough water in order to avoid hair dryness and breakage.
